Village Hall

Village Hall

Lower Hardres & Nackington Village Hall.

The Lower Hardres & Nackington Village Hall (officially the John Baker White Memorial Hall) is at the heart of community life in our parish. Built in 1995 and set in attractive rural grounds just off the B2068 between Lower Hardres and Nackington, the hall provides a welcoming space for a wide range of local activities, events and social gatherings. It has been recognised with a Hallmark 3 award for the quality of its facilities and management, demonstrating its importance as a well‑run community hub.

Inside, the hall offers a light and spacious main hall with capacity for up to approximately 120 guests, a well‑equipped kitchen, a smaller meeting room, and modern amenities including Wi‑Fi, a PA system, projector and screen. The surrounding grounds and parking for around 50 cars make it ideal for larger events such as community fêtes, weddings, classes, club meetings and charitable gatherings. Locally organised activities taking place at the hall include fitness and dance classes, hobby clubs, social events and parish meetings.
