Community Defibrillator

The Parish Council is pleased to confirm that a public access defibrillator (AED) is now installed at the Lower Hardres & Nackington Village Hall and is available for use in an emergency.

Defibrillators are designed to be used by members of the public, with clear spoken instructions once activated. However, it is important that residents feel confident and familiar with how the device works.

Learn How to Use the Defibrillator
We plan to organise a “Learn to Use the Defibrillator” evening in Spring 2026, open to all residents of the parish. This will be an informal session to explain how the defibrillator works and what to do in an emergency.

If you are interested in attending, please contact the Parish Clerk, Jason Messenger, to register your interest.

Reporting a Fault
If you notice that the defibrillator appears to be damaged, missing, or out of order, please contact the Parish Clerk as soon as possible so it can be checked and repaired promptly.
